Wagoner Bulldog quarterback Kale Charboneau set a new single season school passing record Friday night as the Bulldogs rolled over Broken Bow 57-7 in the opening round of the Class 4A playoffs.
Charboneau has passed for 2361 yards this season with at least one more game to go breaking the old record set by Malcom Rodriguez of 2287 yards. With the rest of this season and all of his senior year ahead next year, the junior signal caller would seem a sure bet to set the Wagoner career passing record before his days as a Bulldog are finished.
Charboneau will have a chance to add some more yardage to this season’s total Friday as the Bulldogs host a familiar playoff foe, the Tuttle Tigers, at Odom Field.
