CONGRATULATIONS to Wagoner track athletes who medaled recently at the Class 4A state track meet.
On the boys’ side, Wagoner placed 3rd in the 4X200 relay with a time of 1:28.5 and 7th in the 4X100 relay with a time of 42.96. The relay team was made up of Zion Corey, Gavin Edward, Prince Austin and Stevie Brown. Senior Ryan Atkins, who was part of the team most of the season, was unable to compete due to injury.
For the girls, Mielle McNack and Alyvia Edwards placed 4th and 5th in the shotput with throws of 38-03 and 38-02 respectively and Edwards also medaled in the discus with a heave of 130-08 for the Bulldogs.
