Former Bulldog basketball coach Joe Gordon has been selected as one of 13 coaches to be inducted this summer into the Oklahoma Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Gordon coached on the court now named in his honor for 21 years compiling a record of 355-191. His Bulldog teams made four trips to the state tournament including the 1999 state championship game where Wagoner finished second. That team included several standout players including current Bulldog basketball coach Dante Swanson.
Other area coaches that will be part of the class of 2025 include former Muskogee basketball coach Ted Clement and longtime Northeastern State basketball coach Randy Gipson. Induction ceremonies will be July 26 in Tulsa in conjunction with the All-State games.
