The doubles team of juniors Kendra Condict and Kieley Holladay reached the Class 4A state finals this past weekend before falling to Christian Heritage in what was a long Saturday of tennis for the Lady Bulldogs.
The semifinals match against Byng lasted four hours including weather delays and after an hour rest, the finals ran nearly three hours including two tiebreakers and a weather delay before the Wagoner duo fell 6-7, 6-7.
“They fought so hard and we couldn’t be prouder. Thanks to all of the coaches and all who have supported them,” said athletic director (and proud papa) Dale Condict.
